I want to be healthier. I don't want the health problems my mother has. I want to be more attractive for Luke. I want to have a child eventually and being closer to my ideal weight will help with that... Not to mention the amount I would have to lose afterwards! That's not for a few years but still. I want to feel better about myself - I've noticed that when my life feels out of control then my weight goes up. I want that sense of control back! I've given myself a year from Wednesday to complete this goal - which is effectively to lose a dress size every 4 months which is a slow steady weight loss that I should be able to maintain. If I managed a lb a week then I'd be thrilled. A second goal is to maintain that weight and the check point for that is my 30th birthday - 7 months later.

To show progress in my career and also be maximize that pay packet! It's not all about the money but that does help when I'm struggling to pay off the debts from qualifying.
