I saw another member on MyLifeList with the goal and it seemed like a fun challenge that is within reach for the year. Also my little brother is an avid reader and every few years when we manage to meet up with tend to compete over who has read more and discuss books we've read or plan on reading.

In January of 2012 the guy that I was dating decided he was going to try doing the Paleo Diet in an attempt of be healthier and lose some weight. After initially telling him he was insane I started playing around with the concept and started to get into it as well although neither of us has been able to go super strict it sets out a good guideline. For most of 2012 I did fairly well do a loose version of Paleo and the difference in the way I felt was amazing. The last few months of the year I slacked off and gave in to the piles of junk food and chocolate that appear during the holidays. I keep meaning to get back into it but life keeps throwing things at me. I know that if I just commit I'll be able to do it again. The Whole 30 is like a 1 month cleanse where you are super strict about your diet and I would like to complete one and see if I can kick the sweet tooth and start being healthier again.

In January last year a friend and I went up to Lake Tahoe for a week to relax after the craziness of the holidays, while we were there we were looking into fun things to do besides skiing and snowboarding. We found a couple places that offered dog sledding. However the weather did not work with us, a huge storm blew in and the dogs got snowed in. We both intend to go back sometime and do it... how often do you get that chance to do something like this. Unfortunately it will have to wait till at least this winter as I managed to break my leg and the only adventures I can do for the time being are down the block and back.

It will be a great way to get re-inspired and motivated again after graduating from art school a couple years ago some of the spark is gone. It will also be great to be able to network with other professionals in my feild that I normally wouldn't get to meet.

Seems like it could be fun.
