I have realized this year my desire to learn and experiment with golf. I was introduced to it a long time ago but had no interest in participating in the sport because I felt as though it was an old man's sport. I tried it out last year and really got into it but then cross country and track got in the way but after some recent differences with running I have decided to become a professional golfer. I can't see myself working behind a desk nor do I want to do so.
My experiences with my family if they were put onto a frequency scale would go from low to high frequency quite often. Whether it be a lack of communication, school, or just rough times where someone was on the bad end of someone else's bad day. This goal is for me to use one of the principles from the book I finished (check out my stories!) and that is to, Seek First to Understand, & then to be Understood. If I spend more time getting to know each member in my family better I feel the frequency scale can stay on a level field for long time.
I am a brother to two siblings and I caught myself swearing in front of my little sister at a basketball game although she didn't catch it I noticed it and immediately wanted to change that. As her big brother I have an incredible amount of influence on her and I don't want any of them to be in a negative way.
It ties into my major at school so I figured it couldn't hurt to learn it. Plus it will help in my understanding of the stock market crash of 1929.
I want to gamble and see what all the fuss is about with las vegas. It is also one of my less serious goals one that I will have fun at.
I feel as though my personality up until this point has been always more of a flashy, oh I am better than you, I want people to see me type of attitude and I found that I put people down a lot in order to make myself feel more important.
I feel as though if I can save this much this year and continue to build on that for the upcoming years I can be better off financially than I am currently.
