The first night we slept here, I woke up and watched the sun come in through the bedroom window, taking in our new neighborhood. It was an unbelievable feeling of being settled and home.

Why were you inspired to do this?

This move is one that we had been hoping for over the course of the last year. We found this house and moved into it, all within a three-week time frame. Our previous home seemed to be getting smaller and smaller, with more guests arriving, our circle of friends growing exponentially. It was obviously time to grow.

What were 3 things you did to make this happen?

Kept tabs on the local real estate market.

Jumped at the chance to see the property. Upon viewing, we realized it was the perfect place for us, with enough space and land for everything we wanted.

Made an offer to the owners that worked for everyone, which also allowed us to move in right away. No waiting!

How did you feel once you had accomplished this?

It was a wonderful feeling of being settled after a long period of transition and uncertainty. We are a family now, with deep roots and a home. It feels amazing. There are lots of fun times in our future, starting with a new yellow Lab puppy and a costume party for Halloween weekend!
