Why were you inspired to do this?

Instead of Five Major Contracts I secured two major contracts. However, the second one was a 15 month salaried position in the new career I was building for myself and I love my job and really dig the people I am working with!

What were 3 things you did to make this happen?

I told everyone I know that I was good a social media and was available to consult with them on any project.

I told a client that I would do my services at a reduced rate if they would recommend someone who would pay me at my full rate.

I worked everyday and well into the night on building my skills in Social Media so that I could build myself as a "specialist"

How did you feel once you had accomplished this?

I am so very happy and realize that it's not the number of contracts you get but the quality of the work you do. Also, you have to do what you love, get really good at it and the contracts will follow!
