My trip of the UK

Why were you inspired to do this?

Living on a tourist island like Menorca, you get to meet a lot of people, some of which you will never see again and others that end up becoming truly amazing friends. I decided to travel around the UK for 4 weeks to visit as many of my friends as possible an enjoy some quality time with them.

What were 3 things you did to make this happen?

Plenty of organising dates! A lot of my friends are at Univiersity or working so i had to find out from each person when i could visit them, then schedule it around all of them. I didn´t set anything in stone as you never know what can happen, as an unexpected trip to Liverpool can prove!

Public Transport for almost all of my trip, only once did i get picked up by a friend in one location and taken to another. This did cost me a fair amount of money but i knew it would be the case and i budgeted accordingly.

How did you feel once you had accomplished this?

During the last few days of my trip i was staying with my grandparents and the feeling i had was defintly one of accomplishment. The trip was a major success and i was very pleased with the amount of new places i went to and the amount of friends i managed to spend quality time with.
