Why were you inspired to do this?

I loved animals and I grew always wanted a pet! When I was about 14, my parents got me a cat, who I loved dearly. When I moved out on my own, I was determined to find an apartment that would allow me to have a cat, and then get one. After finally moving into a new apartment, my boyfriend and I adopted a 6 month old domestic cat, Chaia.

What were 3 things you did to make this happen?

Research- we wanted to find a cat that would fit in nicely to our life style, so we looked at different breads.

Finding a cat that needed a home...Instead of getting Chaia from a pet store we used online sites and visited the spca to see if we could find a cat that needed to be rescued!

Although cats arent as expensive as dogs, they do bring along an extra financial cost, s so we wanted to make sure that we could afford one before we got her!

How did you feel once you had accomplished this?

Great. She has been a great addition to our family and we love her very much!
