See a Chelsea Match in the US

Why were you inspired to do this?

Chelsea FC is my favorite Footy (soccer) team. There is nothing like seeing them play at Stamford Bridge in London...but seeing them play in the United States against AC Milan is nearly as good!

What were 3 things you did to make this happen?

Joined the Local Supporters Union (www.ohiochelsea.com)

Booked a trip to Baltimore for the match vs. AC Milan. Coordinate the plans for a Pub, Hotel, etc.

Meet up with 50,000 other Chelsea Supporters in the area

How did you feel once you had accomplished this?

This was a truly unique experience! Have seen the Blues in UK, but the atmosphere in the US was even more frenzied, because if was a 1st time experience for so many people! Two world-class clubs (Chelsea vs. AC Milan) played a friendly and CFC won 2-1. They debuted the new away kit/jersey and Drogba and Zhirkov both scored. We were close enough to see everything and the feeling was positive and festive throughout the night. Some of my closest friends were there! Nearly every Pub in the area was overflowing with Chelsea and footy (soccer) fans. Thanks to City of Baltimore and all who made the weekend so Brilliant!
