Why do you want to do this?
I grew up on a farm in New Zealand where we had cats, dogs, chickens, rabbits, ducks, cows and sheep everywhere. Dogs are great, dogs are smart, but require dedication, time and space to move.
What three things will you need to make this happen?
Move out of my apartment to a more dog friendly environment
Be impulsive and buy a dog anyway
Opt out for a cat. That doesn't seem right. But I enjoy cats too
What is the biggest barrier to your achieving this?
Where I live. Timing is everything with this goal. 2010 could be the year of the dog, once I have relocated.
