Why do you want to do this?
This is something that 50 years from now I want to be able to look back on and say I'd documented an entire year of my life, and who knows, it could even maybe spin off onto a larger scale, past the one year mark. Memories are something to be cherished, and what better way than to learn to appreciate the simpler things as well as the extravagances
I have subcategorized this as a writing goal, partly because nothing else really fit, but also because I would like to use this almost as a new medium for keeping a journal. I think it would be an interesting way to retell something special about each day.
What three things will you need to make this happen?
I will need to start taking my camera with me everywhere. You never know when the perfect moment will pop up on any given day.
I will need to start focusing in more on the little details of life. I don't want 365 pictures of generic quality. I want things that will be memorable when I look back years later.
I will need to set aside a specific time every night where I will upload my photo of the day, otherwise I will get sidetracked and it won't get done.
What is the biggest barrier to your achieving this?
The biggest barrier is definitely staying committed. I can't even keep a proper diary. I'm hoping that this will in some ways act as a diary. If I can stick through it and take the 3 seconds a day to snap a picture, I will be left with something amazing at the end of a year.
