Why do you want to do this?
Slacklining is the act of walking and performing tricks on a piece of climbing webbing strung between to objects. I first slacklined a few years ago. At first it was very frustrating just trying to stay on the line. After some practice I was able to walk a short line and stay on the line for a few minutes. Working on my balance is an ongoing goal and slacklining is a fun way to practice.
What three things will you need to make this happen?
A safe place to practice.
Time to practice.
Courage to try some of the flipping dismounts that I want to work on.
What is the biggest barrier to your achieving this?
I would say that finding a place to set up the line is going to be the biggest challenge. I live in a small apartment and there are not very many places that are both adequate and safe.
