Why do you want to do this?
I really enjoyed doing the fundraising work I previously did and have always wanted to work in the nonprofit sector. I like knowing that I am making a direct impact on the world and want to work to help people or for something I really believe in. I'm a pretty extreme person and want to be able to give 100% of myself to my job.
What three things will you need to make this happen?
A job! I have been out of work for almost two years so I feel like I am starting from the beginning again.
A better nonprofit network.
My Nonprofit Management and Leadership certificate.
What is the biggest barrier to your achieving this?
My network is pretty weak - I really need to invest in finding some ways to network around to find a job.
