Why do you want to do this?

I have always thought tattoos were powerful and special pieces of art. They are a way to write the story of our life on our bodies. They can be a rite of passage or a visual mark to signify life-changing events that make us who we are today. I have had many such events that I wish I had the cash at the time to commemorate with a tattoo but didn't - some a better late than never.

What three things will you need to make this happen?

Extra money.

A good design I really love.

A tattoo artist that is willing to take the time to get to know me and work with me. Someone I trust.

What is the biggest barrier to your achieving this?

Extra money. I know a tattoo artist who is a good friend in Milwaukee I would gladly let do it - but I would need to get extra cash to travel to her to get inked. I already had a design concept in mind for the memorial tattoo.
