Why do you want to do this?
I want to pay my bills on time, mainly my phone bill for T-Mobile, because I've always been late. I end up getting a 5.00 late fee just because I failed to call, let them know that I will be late with the payment.
What three things will you need to make this happen?
Write a reminder in my calender of when the payment is due and also with the grace period.
Call T-Mobile in advanced as soon as I'm aware that I can't make the payment on time, which most likely is all the time :(
Set up an automatic payment as soon as I know I will be late...or split payment in two.
What is the biggest barrier to your achieving this?
The biggest barrier to achieving paying this bill on time would be my carelessness. I tend to think the bill will pay itself since they are so flexible with the grace period (Thank God). So my lack of care results in an additional 5.00 onto the bill. I could be saving that 5.00 a month. 5 x 12 = 60 a year...wow! I know it's not much but that could pay for some groceries on week when I really need it..... ;)
