Why do you want to do this?

My lower back has been giving me issues for many years now. I go to a chiropractor somewhat regularly, however, it only gives temporary relief. It is starting to get to the point where the pain in my lower back is seriously restricting me from being active and I feel constant pain. A few years back I went to a physical therapist and was given exercises to strengthen the area, but for whatever reason, I didn't do the exercises and now have no idea what they are. This is the year that I am going to get this back thing figured out.

What three things will you need to make this happen?

Schedule an appointment with the physical therapist.

Once I am examined, I will set a schedule to do the exercises at home or at the rehab center, depending on the recommendation of the physical therapist.

If additional treatment is needed that cannot be provided by the physical therapist, I will schedule appts immediately.

What is the biggest barrier to your achieving this?

My biggest barrier has always been mental for some reason. I have known for years that I just needed to get into the physical therapist and follow their rehab plan and it would probably help significantly. But I am really good at putting things off. I have to let things get as bad as possible before I take action. It is the same for the dentist, hair cuts, etc... Something to work on, for sure.
