Why do you want to do this?

I would love to visit many National US Landmarks with my children so they (and I) can learn about important events in our country's history.

Ohhh, I love this goal.  We've held off on the lengthier trips because of the ages of our kids.  How old are you children?  Have you thought of one of those travelling coaches for your road trip?  Here's a link that has me really excited about luxury road tripping.
