Why do you want to do this?
I attempted this in 2008 with my Mam. It was so cold and she really couldn't deal with it and we ended up leaving before midnight. The atmosphere was immense though! Also - NYC is my favourite city! I want to go with friends and really get swept up in the atmosphere!
Planning in for New Year 2012
What three things will you need to make this happen?
Company - This would be no fun alone. I need friends to do it with!
Money - Not a cheap trip. I need lots of spondoolies!
Warm clothes - It was sooo cold last time. I need thermals, waterproof, gloves, scarves, hats - anything else warm!
What is the biggest barrier to your achieving this?
Company - I need somebody else that wants to do this.
I will ask all of my friends.
I will advertise on travel buddy websites.
