Travel & Leisure: North America
Why do you want to do this?
I first took spanish in 5th grade and made it through high school Spanish followed by 3 semesters in Undergrad. After that I had a boyfriend who's first language was Spanish and when spending time with him and friends, I started understanding more and more of the language. Problem is I've never felt comfortable trying to speak it conversationally. I want to complete the Rosetta Stone Spanish (Latin America) program.
What three things will you need to make this happen?
Rosetta Stone software to complete all levels.
The resolve and determination to sit down and work at this every day.
Time set aside specifically for studying Spanish.
What is the biggest barrier to your achieving this?
Apathy. If I can get into a regular habit of even one hour each day studying Spanish, I will make vast improvements on what little foundation I already have.
