That's hardly a little foundation! You're so close to this, I bet it won't take you long at all. The leap between thinking and reading Spanish and actually saying it all out loud is so short. You're going to be surprised what little effort this takes. I took Spanish classes from seventh grade through college and even then, I think it took speaking to other fluent people for me to believe I could actually do it. You can do this, you have the words. You just need the confidence. Keep us posted on this one ... I'm curious to know how long it takes you. Good luck!

Thanks so much for the encouragement!  I just started last night with the Rosetta Stone Level 1.  My plan is to do at least one full lesson a day, and hopefully some days more than that... especially in the beginning when it's things I do know already.  I might have a hangup as far as when I can purchase the next level(s), but once I really get going I'm thinking I won't want to stop!  Maybe I'll try to learn French next!
