Travel & Leisure: Europe

Why do you want to do this?

My husband and I have both been to Europe several times but never together. We our building our first house together and so our money is being spent towards that. I would like to visit Europe with him in 2012, so we will need to start saving now. We have only taken short trips together around the US so this would be a fun experience.

What three things will you need to make this happen?

Very tight savings or finding a job that pays more.

Narrowing down places we want to go.

Making a budget, in order to know how much to save.

What is the biggest barrier to your achieving this?

I work for a non-profit and he is in the military so we don't make a lot of money together. I also need to pay down some credit card debt before focusing on saving for the trip.
