Hi Jeff, You sure are thinking big, most people just give a ring! You plan to come with a house. Talk about raising the bar for the rest of us who are thinking about getting married to our long term girlfriends.

We figured we'd buy a house with a large enough yard to host the wedding. Why pay for a location if we can just spend that money on our house! =)

Ok, I now understand, that is really smart. My best friend in New Brunswick did the same thing. He even filled a canoe with beverages and put it in the back yard. He was happy to spend money on catered food as he did not have to pay for the venue. It was a great wedding. Seems like more people are thinking like this. 

I wish I had a mobile app so I could respond on-the-go instead of waiting until I get home ;)

lol.  Way to put the pressure on Bill for the mobile app.  How long have you been with your girlfriend?  Does she share your dream of a wedding at home?  Friends of ours did it too and it was absolutely beautiful and now they have such fantastic memories of their home.   Wishing you the best of luck your househunting and planning.
