Why do you want to do this?
I have been dating my boyfriend Ben for about six years. He is twenty-five-years-old, and has been smoking since he was fifteen-years-old. I know Ben has already done a lot of damage to his lungs, he coughs constantly, but I am not entirely sure he realizes this as well. I want him to be healthy and not dependent on cigarettes. On top of that, it is a disgusting habit which is very expensive.
What three things will you need to make this happen?
strength and patience (both of us!)
Ben needs to be willing to quit
he needs support from everyone around him, not just myself.
What is the biggest barrier to your achieving this?
his stubbornness!
