This is such a great show!

I'd wanted to go for awhile, and my boyfriend surprised me with tickets for my birthday this past November. It was such a great way to kick off the Christmas season...

The tickets are pricey -- or at least in Boston they are! But if you watch for deals (e.g. Amex sometimes does pre-sale for cardholders, and sometimes you can save on fees by going to the venue to buy tickets instead of going through Ticketmaster), hopefully you get a reasonably priced ticket!

The first half of the show was surprisingly pensive... There was a narrator and the story had strong religious overtones. Personally, I like that because to me, that's what the Christmas season is all about! The second half was more upbeat-- more of the stuff you're used to hearing on the radio. And the special effects are incredible.
