Why do you want to do this?

I'm a creator and a visionary. To me, this would be a fun outlet. As much as I love designing things on my computer, I never am able to then build that which I've designed. I want to change that.

What three things will you need to make this happen?

First, purchase all of the smaller handheld and power tools needed for basic woodworking projects.

Second, purchase the larger power tools (table saws, router tables, etc.).

Reorganize part of my pole barn/garage to accommodate the addition of all these tools.

What is the biggest barrier to your achieving this?

Maintaining interest in it over the years. This won't happen overnight because it would simply be too expensive. With every birthday, father's day and Christmas come opportunities to add to my collection of tools, but I am a fickle man, so in a year or two, there's always a chance I could care less about this goal.
