Why do you want to do this?
I was inspired to do this when I read a story of a woman paying off peoples layaway accounts for their kids Christmas gifts a Kmart. My girlfriend and I decided that we would pool our funds and do this together next Christmas (2012)
What three things will you need to make this happen?
A savings of money set aside
Locate the best store in the most needy area to do this at
Pick our day and do it.
What is the biggest barrier to your achieving this?
Being "shy". To actually approach the counter to pay off someone elses bill is going to take some personal fortitude.
As you progress with your goal, share the resources you find helpful with others who can also benefit from them.
