Todays update.  My concert tickets came.  However have four extra that are further away that I want to sell.  I want to use the proceeds from the sale to upgrade my seats.  I will keep you posted of if I seel them and for what increase.  It seems like a tight market for tickets at this time, but the concert is not until March.

 Looks liek that is definitly a Boys Night Out!  Still good to see this band.  I know you have waited a long time!!

 I just wrote teh ad for the second group of four tickets I am selling.  Looking to make good on these tickets so I can buy an upgrade to floor tickets.  I think you can only call yourself a scalper if you do this full time.  So I'm ok with it for this event.

I love this goal (and, your #2).  Good luck in upgrading your seats!!!  Hope it works out for you!!  I haven't been to a concert in ages!!!  So, it's funny now that my credit card debt is almost paid off, I too, just bought concert tickets for a Saturday night in March, but it's to see Jason Aldean.  Never in my life did I think I would be going to a country music concert, but I'm getting into it now.  It's much happier music than it used to be.  My husband & I are excited to be going to a concert at all, it's been so long!

 Update...found a great deal on hotel rooms!.  Since teh concert is a Saturday night, teh boys and I will be staying downtown.  Even if I could have afforded this concert in mu youth, I don't think I could have afforded a decent hotel room.  Perhpas it was good to wait until I was older!  secured 2 adjoining double bed rooms at a well known hotel in the heart of downtown.

 The hotel room will make for a great concert and you don't haveto worry about driving.  Sometimes it's nicer to do these things when you don't haveto do them on a budget like you did as a teeen.  Adjoining rooms is a nice touch also.

 That is a very good idea booking a hotel room. You don't haveto worry about driving and you can take full advantage of the Saturday night.

 SOLD!!  tow of the four extra tickets I bought.  This allows me to put $60.00 towards upgrading my own seats!!  The deal is confirmed today by e-mail although it has yet to actually exchange tickets for $$.  I do trust the buyer though.

 Bought, on sale teh VAN HALEN version of rock band for the Playstation 2.  It's an old game, but it will be coming to the hotel with us that ngiht for the pre-party!!  It's going to be a GREAT night!

 He Erik, Thanks for the update!  That is a serious old school game, but definitly will make the concert experience worthwhile, sounds like it is going to be a very fun night for everyone who is going!

 I have Mettallica rock band.  If it's anything like that, it is going to be a  GREAT warm up to get all the boys excited about seeing them live! Nice buy!

 The buyer called me Saturday and was supposed to execute the transaction over the weekend.  I have not heard from him at all.  I think he has disapeared.  This is sad, very sad.  

 That is too bad about the ticket sales.  The concert is not until March so I am sure you will fnd a new buyer by then,  I hope it works out for you though.

 It is a shame that deal fell through.  I am sure there will be other buyers though.  Keep the ads up to date and on the front page by reposting them often.

 SOLD!  Nickelback tickets!  An extra $40.00 to put into my pool for ticket upgrades to Van Halen!!  Just sold them last night and is a much more solid deal than the earlier person who was to buy my Van Halen tickets.  It's a GREAT day today!

 Congratulations on the sale Erik!  you are getting closer to advancing seats.  Now if you can sell your extra Van Halen tickets you will be set.  Keep us posted!

 Waiting for teh mailman to eliver teh Nickelback tickets so they can be picked up on Thursday night and paid for.  waiting...nervously.  No takers yet on teh extra Van Halen seats.  I have lowered my price by $5.00 each seat.  Don't want to be stuck with them.

I reasearched that and the tickets went on sale last Thursday, if you bought them that day they were probably mailed by Monday at the latest.  They should arrive today or tomorrow.  

 I am optamistic your rickets for Nickelback will come tomorrow and the transaction will be smooth.  I read that the Red Hot Chilli Peppers are playing in Toronto and Ottawa in Canada only.  Have you thought about gettign these tickets pre-sale to sell and put towards the Van Halen upgrade?

 It sounds like you have faith in the buyer and usually people are good to their word.  I am sure it will work out that your tickets will come tomorrow and you will meet with the buyer tomorrow night.  Please do keep us posted though.

 Called the buyer, they were ok with a Monday or Tuesday delivery.  Should be ok.  Trying to buy Red Hot Chilli Peppers tickets to sell today to put tawards my cause, but no such luck.  Ticketmaster servers seem to be crashed!

 You are a real wheeler dealer on this.  But don't over extend yourself buying too many tickets to resell.  If you don't sell them, you are in a deficit position with your goal!  Good luck on the chili tickets today!

 I was away for the weekend so sorry for no updates for those tracking my progress.  Tickets came today for the buyer of teh Nickelback tickets.  Did not manage to buy teh Red Hot Chilly Peppers tickets due to a server crash at Ticketmaster.  Probably for the better as I am already looking for buyers for my 2nd group of Van Halen tickets and is they are in teh upper bowl, teh sale is pretty slow.

 Sounds like it worked out for teh better as you are not over-estended.  I would sell what you have first before buying more.  Good news about the Nickelback tickets coming though.

I hope you had a good time this weekend!.  I think Whizzer and you are both right that it is probably not good to get overextended.  Sell what you have then make a judgment on your earning as to what upgrade is best to relive Van Halen.  Good luck in your sales!

 I will be the third to chime in with the comment of not getting overextended.  Sell what you have first as even the Nickelback tickets are not a completed deal yet.  Try to secure some more birds in hand first.  Your original plan is to see Van Halen and yu have good seats already.

 Heard, understood and acknowledged.  I will sell my current inventory before buying more.  Refreshing ads on Kijiji and Craigslist today.  I appreciate your support, guidance and helping me get closer to this goal.  I have the tickets as was my original goal and they are good seats.  Watch for pictures of the concert!  Perhaps even from the floors as this usually do work out for me!
