Amazing. The view across the country was incrediable especially when we travelled into the Rocky Mountains. We started in Halifax, Nova Scotia and stopped in the following cities: Quebec City, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Jasper, Vancouver. We also made it to Abbotsford and Vancouver Island: Victoria When Troy and I were planning on eloping I jumped at the opportunity to do something on my life list. So our trip ended up being our honeymoon. :)

Why were you inspired to do this?

I really wanted to see my own country, and I thought what better way to see it by train! I've wanted to do this since I was a teenager and when Troy and I decided to elope, I thought what better way to do it by going away and seeing our country at the same time! The train is a wonderful way to train, the cultures, the changes in weather, scenery and meet people. The travellers we met on the train were amazing, people were so unique and fun.

What were 3 things you did to make this happen?

save the money!!! $$$

decide to make it happen - arrange the dates with the elopment, book the train ticket, hostels, etc.

save up my vacation time and arrange the time off.

How did you feel once you had accomplished this?

Wonderful. I've looked back at the adventure and i can't believe it really happened!
