Why were you inspired to do this?
Tired of renting. Hubbie and I are pretty good at saving money and plus we don't have children (yet!) we really wanted to settle ourselves in a house. I'm moving back 'home' to live here with him and hopefully figure out a job situation when I get there!
What were 3 things you did to make this happen?
Saving up $$ for the down payment
Get help from my parents who are real estate agents
Keep good credit!
How did you feel once you had accomplished this?
Great! It's an old farmhouse on a nice chunk of land but it does need a bit of work, so that's the next year project for sure!
